JOB PURPOSE:
Planning, organizing, actuating and controlling the market strategy, tactics and all activities of the brands within the product group in order to achieve the company’s objectives on brand image, equity, market value share, turnover and profit of the product group.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Evaluate the current market competitive situation and own company key leverage point in order to develop a long term plan and strategy for the product group;
2.Initiate and develop the product marketing plans, to give clear strategy, tactics, budget and action program for the following years;
3.Evaluate market trends and opportunities, propose the market access strategy, as well as R&D briefing on required product standard; lead to new product development / improvement / maintenance;
4. Supervise, organize, actuate and evaluate market plan’s implementation process, cost control, correct realization of turnover target, market value share target, profit target, product penetration target and brand equity improvement;
5. Coordinate and work closely with Sales, Demand and Logistic Department to ensure the right implementation of marketing, distribution, merchandising and sales related target;
6. Set objectives and framework for advertising & media agencies in developing advertising / media campaign and promotion activities;
7. Drive consumer research program to obtain consumer insights and translate into the need and claims for potential product development;
8. Control and evaluate the gross product contribution level of the respective brands and set for the right pricing policy;
9. Evaluate the product range of performance and initiate the withdrawal process of non-performing product in alignment with market / consumer demand;
10. High sensitivity to local government policy related to advertising, industry, consumer, trade, product registration etc. to ensure correct policy action;
11. Guide, train and develop Product Managers in order to have solid and professional marketers within his / her product group;
12. Maintain good / professional working relationship with all levels in the company.
REQUIREMENT:
1. PRC Nationality;
2. University or above educational level, MBA preferred;
3. Minimum 4 years experience in marketing, with no less than 3 years in FMCG multi-national environment;
4. Solid experience in consumer brand and product, experienced in NPD;
5. Strong drive influencing skill;
6. Good people management and training experience;
7. Good command of English, both oral and written;
8. Excellent communication and coordination skill;
9. Responsible, reliable, self-motivated, independent;
10. Willing to accept a frequent travel schedule.
