Purposes of the position (Role):
The Sales manager will be responsible for taking the lead in identifying project, securing order for individual or multiple projects in China market,
Essential Responsibilities:
Secure orders for Vestas in accordance with company guidelines
Coordinate internal sales and externals sales for specific project in China .
Identify and develop strong relationships with consultants, developers, wind farm owners, utilities and local entities involved in wind power projects.
Represent the company in a professional manner toward current and potential clients parties involved in wind power project in China .
Develop competence in terms of, wind turbines, project design, grid connection, wind&site and large-scale farm operations offering world-class knowledge and expertise as the leader in the market place.
Develop effective collaboration with and support for the commercial, project legal and service departments.
Ensure that Vestas BP's for sales and contracting are implemented and followed.
Responsible for external sales process
For individual or multiple projects take responsibility for coordination and lead bidding and contracting phase of sales process, including but not limited to, client relationship, coordination with commercial department, project kick off meetings, bid submissions, contract negotiations and project handover.
Provide market feedback and updates for budgeting and forecasting
Provide project input and monthly updates to management and commercial department on all projects for use in budgeting and forecasting
Collect market data, project data, competitors info and info on developments in market and provide feed back supporting company in adjusting to changing market conditions.
Qualification required: (education, training, license, skills, etc.)
A relevant University degree in Engineering combined with further commercial and/or legal education is a requirement.
Negotiation and contracting experience from power industry, or related
Strong sense for commercial issues and customer satisfaction
Experience from project sales
Risk management experience of complicated contracting structures
English language at negotiation level both spoken and written
Experienced user of Microsoft Office programs
Service minded, flexible and with a high stress threshold
Ability to work effectively with wide range functional departments.
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships over an extended period.
