You will: oversee strategy and business development for the client; lead & guide the development of key client relationships across the client's organization; be responsible for the strategy & direction of the accounts.
SUMMARY
This person is responsible for health and growth of RMG account relationships. He/She is responsible for ensuring the quality of all deliverables and the integration of ideas and resources across functional groups. He/She oversees strategy and business development for the client. They draw on a wide range of marketing experience to help create a big-picture perspective for clients' business efforts. Finally, the person is responsible for defining an annual revenue target per their client roster and managing their Key Account Plans successfully, reaching financial, talent management, strategic and creative targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to Business Development
· Contribute to pre-sales efforts, including proposal generation and crafting of new service offerings.
· Generate proposals, presentations, and pricing
· Seeks additional revenue opportunities by always being aware of scope changes, upgrade opportunities within existing engagements, or new opportunities with in a customer's organization
Account Management
· Oversee and ensure the quality of client deliverables; e.g., timely, on strategy/objective, meeting RMG standards
· Rationalize and deliver projected revenue from existing clients, direct and participate in initiatives that generate new revenue from clients
· Act as senior level RMG contact with clients to register and resolve questions, express needs and communicate business and service issues, as well as monitor the health of the RMG relationship and ways that RMG can boost its business
· Guide project teams in crisis situations with clients and get involved personally to help resolve these situations, as appropriate
· Lead creation and development of annual account plans and participate in regular account reviews with project teams and account management
· Drive interactive marketing strategy development in collaboration with Account Servicing and Consulting teams
· Ensure effective staffing levels and quality of staff for required client deliverables including business development proposals
· Negotiate client contracts
· Spearhead communication/dissemination of important company and industry news
· Manage revenue & pipeline forecasting/reporting, account planning and account review process
· Commit RMG on overall relationship issues (e.g., contracts) in conjunction with Managing Director, and assist with the development of new sustained compensation agreements (retainer, AOR)
· Lead day-to-day management and development of the account services group including monitoring staff performance and spearheading recruiting efforts
· Uphold & ensure compliance to company guidelines, such as timely completion of performance reviews and time sheets, and accurate revenue forecasts
· Help to create standards (documentation/strategies/process) that become RMG best practices in conjunction with Director of Operations
· Make sure that reporting and operation procedures of account management are efficient and evolving to address changing client and management needs (e.g., contact reporting, status and revenue reports, etc.).
· Ownership of Scope of Work writing, budget and schedule planning, change management, resource planning, and overall execution monitoring

QUALIFICATIONS
Job Experience & Qualities
· 7+ years of account management and/or management level marketing, a minimum of 1 year in an agency environment, preferably a combination of advertising, marketing, branding, business process, and tech industry exposure
· Proven success in growing account and revenue generation
· Demonstrated strategic or consultative approach to account management
· Experience managing services and project related business
· Strong understanding of marketing new media techniques including Internet, Intranet and extranet development, as well as understanding of overall marketing strategy and integrated communications
· Thorough understanding of customer/end-user relationship experiences in digital marketing channels
· Ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization, from project manager to executive, while still introducing elements of fun and humor in the workplace
· Ability to develop and motivate a team and assist with the integration of the Account Management group within RMG Connect
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation abilities
· Must have sound financial management skills
Education
· BA//MBA from an accredited school
